Ex- Illinois Central Main Line Rail Track near Monticello, Wisconsin.
Switch Box

This switch stand was used on the rail line to get rail cars in and out of Cargill feed manufacturing plant in Monticello.

This switch is still operational and used during Depot Days to get the motorcars out onto the main line after all the passengers have boarded.

This view is looking south toward Monroe. Less than a mile past here is where the ICG crosses the Milwaukee Road New Glarus branch which is now a recreational trail.
